Hey y’all! We’re Blake and Megan, and we’re so excited to celebrate this special moment with all of you.

Our story began in Memphis, TN, where we first met. Blake was living and working there, while I was deep in the middle of veterinary school at Mississippi State. Funny enough, I’m originally from Memphis, and Blake’s from Starkville, where I was attending school—so we were basically switching between hometowns the whole time. Once we finally finished playing hometown musical chairs, we found ourselves perfectly in sync.

Between my demanding schedule and Blake’s full-time job, we cherished every free weekend we could spend together, whether it was in Memphis or Starkville, whether enjoying our time together at home or getting out into our communities. Life threw us a curveball when Blake accepted a job in Dallas, and suddenly, the 2.5-hour drive between us turned into an 8-hour journey. It wasn’t easy—but we both knew our relationship was worth it, no matter how hard it got. Every mile between us only made us stronger.

In May 2024, I graduated from vet school (finally!) and made the move to Dallas. Now, I’m working as a veterinarian, and we’re settling into life together in our starter home with our goofy, lovable hound dog, Maverick. It’s been an adventure we wouldn’t trade for anything.

We’re so excited to bring our two communities together—our friends and family from Memphis, Starkville, Dallas, and beyond—for a celebration of love, laughter, and the start of this next chapter. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to see y’all soon!
